And it's about a dark unicorn.

Samples included.  Of course, you could just read the fic.

Hooves of molten silver pounded mercilessly on the hard cracked surface of the ground, gaining speed with each and every step he took. A geyser of hot air shot through a gaping hole in the ground near the front of him. Sparks shot away from his hooves as they skidded, almost losing their grip, shooting him away from the hot steam. Muscles rippled over a rich satin coat that was covered with sweat. Labored breathing racked his body, dark red eyes staring straight ahead, to the large stream that separated their valley haven, Jade Valley, from the Unhallowed Plains.

------------------------

“Shadowfire, I was starting to worry that you wouldn’t be able to get back – is that the Cryisa flower?” she asked, pausing, her mauve eyes bright against her salt and pepper. When she tilted her slender head slightly to the left, her ivory horn caught the setting sun’s glow just right. One forefoot was held up, frozen in place as its owner stared at the rare flower, entranced. Black hooves were outlined by a silver lining near the bottom, making them look exotic. White strands of mane framed her neck, not moving until she trotted on up to her friend once he exited the stream, marveling at the beauty of the flower.

My computer started smelling like grape soda after I left that on my screen for a while.

First one: Uh... hooves of molten silver + muscles rippling over skin = bad mental images.

As for the second sample - you know you're in trouble when this humble reader can't tell whether you're referring to the girl, the unicorn or the literal flower.

Heavens.
